I am OK

I hid my puffy eyes, by a smokey eye and fake lashes. 
I hid my bruises by putting on foundation that flashes. 

With red lipstick I paint a smile ,
I put on a new dress to show I ain’t fragile .

I put on glasses to hide my tears
And put on high heels so fierce.

I’m OK ,that’s what everybody thinks ,
But by every passing second a piece of me shrinks .
